Senior/Principal PET Software Engineer

Vernon Hills, Illinois

CMRU has an immediate opening for a Senior or Principal Software Engineer in our Molecular Imaging (PET) business unit located in Vernon Hills, a northern suburb of Chicago, Illinois.

As a Senior or Principal Software Engineer at CMRU, you have the opportunity to participate in the research and development of Canon’s next generation medical imaging systems. You will develop computer software supplying data acquisition, image reconstruction and signal processing functions for advanced features, system prototypes, and practical products to be transferred to Canon Medical Systems Corporation for commercialization. You will work under the technical supervision of a team leader, in cross-disciplinary project groups, and on ad-hoc teams supporting investigations and advanced development.

Detector/Systems Scientist (CT)

Summary of Position

CMRU has an immediate opening for a Detector/System Scientist (entry or senior level) to participate research and development of Spectral-CT systems using Photon-Counting Detectors. Our research team investigates detector and system design, data acquisition methods and calibration algorithms. We build proof of concepts and prototypes and also publish certain research results.

CMRU–P&E Senior Buyer

Summary of Position

The Senior Buyer will manage vendor relationships by conferring with suppliers and customers and analyzing supplier’s operations and customer’s requirements to determine factors that affect prices. The Senior Buyer will facilitate a process with customers to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required delivery schedules. Additional responsibilities include reviewing proposals, negotiating prices, recommending and selecting suppliers, analyzing trends, verifying delivery schedules, approving payments, and maintaining necessary records.

Principal FPGA Engineer

The Principal FPGA Engineer is responsible for all aspects of FPGA development, ranging from requirements analysis and FPGA architecture down to integration and debug.
