Senior Software Engineer, MR

Summary of Position

CMRU has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer in the MR software team to participate in developing reconstruction software for our MR product line. This position works independently and within a cross functional team to deliver MR reconstruction features and solutions for multiple platforms and product releases.

Responsibilities

  • Write application software for a Linux-like system using C++.
  • Build and maintain software test infrastructure.
  • Work with MR physicists to implement algorithms for MR reconstruction systems, and help support and train them for product software development.
  • Analyze product and system level requirements and translate to software specifications.
  • Design and implement solutions to complex data management and distributed processing software problems in the reconstruction platform domain.
  • Optimize software to obtain optimum performance on available computation hardware.
  • Plan and perform integration activities at component, sub-system and system levels.

The Senior Buyer will manage vendor relationships by conferring with suppliers and customers and analyzing supplier’s operations and customer’s requirements to determine factors that affect prices. The Senior Buyer will facilitate a process with customers to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required delivery schedules.
